Great service, lovely cooked fish and chips, large portions. Friendly atmosphere is a great place for lunch. No parking but waitrose is across the road and you can park there.

While visiting family in the area, we were in search of a place to have a meal and stumbled upon this fish and chip restaurant. The charming outside seating area with blooming flowers caught our attention. The two gentlemen inside were hospitable and explained the serving process clearly and with a friendly demeanor. The fish and chips we ordered were outstanding - freshly cooked and delicious. This was a pleasant surprise for us, coming from the Midlands where this level of quality is rare. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. We highly recommend this restaurant, even for picky eaters like us. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This restaurant is a lovely spot with a cozy and well-lit atmosphere. It may be small, but most people opt for takeout, so there is usually plenty of space inside. My go-to order is the cod and chips with mushy peas, paired with a Tango Orange soda. The cod and chips never disappoint - the chips are perfectly soggy when drizzled with salt and vinegar, which I find delicious. The fish is flaky and well-fried, and the peas are a tasty addition. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a place I would highly recommend to my friends over other fish and chips restaurants I've tried.

Since 2017 here. new newly renovated facility. cozy atmosphere and especially brilliant service. Eating is best. classic fish and chips cooked perfectly and not where else tastes better.

I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the standard cod and chips, and it was extremely delicious. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The dining experience was excellent, with the owner warmly welcoming us and making us feel right at home.
