La Porca - Merton

Literally the best wrap I ever had. I added bacon, cheese BBQ sauce and chilly and it was perfect. The staff was smilie and friendly.

During a meeting with one of my valuable clients at Camden Market, we started to feel hungry and chose to try out La Porca, which had received high praises. The service was exceptional, provided by a delightful Frenchman who served me a delicious shredded pork burger topped with Jack Daniels sauce. I left feeling completely satisfied. This place offers the best food in Camden, combining great value with friendly and efficient service.

This restaurant is simply the best! The food is lovely and worth every penny. Every time I'm in Camden, I must have my La Porca wrap. I highly recommend it, 100%!

I recently ordered the pulled pork salad box from La Porca and unfortunately, it was the worst pulled pork I have ever tasted. The salad box consisted of a lot of lettuce and shredded carrot, a few dry beans, and a small amount of grated cheese. It did not come with the slaw or honey mustard rocket that was advertised. The pork itself was tender but lacked flavor, with just a dribble of BBQ sauce on top. I have had much better pulled pork for less than £7.50. Since I had a train to catch, I did not bother to complain at the time and instead bought a meal from another stand. I frequently visit Camden Lock for lunch when I am in London, and this was the first time I had a bad meal there.

Situated in the food part of Camden Loch Market this is a great little find. Barbecue pulled pork barbecue and you have it in either a wrap or burger. I chose wrap and it was huge! Cooked in jack Daniels bbq sauce with apple coleslaw, salad and chilli sauce! It was delicious. It cost me £6 which is what all other food places were charging so it has to keep up with competition. But i would definitely recommend here if you are looking for a quick lunch.. and the atmosphere is great!!
