Really good chicken fried steak and good service. her icy was also really good. the dining room is very simple and the ice machine is quite loud, but it was a very pleasant experience anyway. as in homeland texas. highly recommended.

I have been in 6 different States over the last year and sure missed Texas food. Skeets has 4 locations in and around Abilene. The location in Merkel was very clean, service was great as was the food. It was also a bargain. A large chicken fried steak, loaded baked potato, roll and small salad, $10.
