Killarney's Publick House - Mercerville

With indoor eating on stop in the State of New Jersey trying to find out food outside is rough, even with the warmer weather. Some restaurants that offer outdoor restaurants have not yet opened or simply do not use their outdoor area like the cheesecake factory. The theme was trying to celebrate a birthday of friends who was in Pa, one who shifts and is currently on a military basis, and I come from the central Jersey. As a PST listener, I stumbled over Killarney's Publick House. Reservations are recommended. The connection to the directions is simple, but not the 25 minutes, as shown to arrive, more than 10-15. The outdoor area is furnished with parasols so that you are covered by the sun. As hot as it was that you didn't feel the heat. Our Pa friend was late for a freight train, but the waiting staff was very courteous and friendly. Service was great. The drinks were refreshing and our apps and food were not disappointed. After my experience in an Irish pub in New York, I never thought I would put another foot in one, but this food was really good. Then there's Seamus. He's just a great guy who feels welcome. So if you're in the area, or not like us, think for great drinks, food and say hello to Seamus. The music they play is also great. You might want to dance on stage, but not.

The Steak Gorgonzola was incredible—definitely the best steak I've had since moving to New Jersey. It was cooked to perfection, and the Gorgonzola sauce was just right—not overpowering, yet still allowing the flavor of the steak to shine through. The Smoked Old Fashioned was also an ideal choice for a dinner drink!

Great food, excellent service and very clean! They do have outdoor seating and a room to hold private parties. They are great for quick lunch breaks esp if you call your order in ahead of time it will be ready when you arrive to eat and enjoy. My husband goes here a few times a week with all of his coworkers and they love it. The waitresses and staff are very nice and friendly. They have bands that play ect. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for great food a nice environment and clean.

Great food, prices were great, service was good but to be fair the were busy! They went out of their way to help me with an issue I had with my car. Phenomenal place we will definitely be going back! Definitely give them a try!

We visited this restaurant for lunch after a friend's recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly polite, making us feel right at home. The food was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to others!
