Agaves Mexican Grill - Merced

Best Mexican cuisine I've had for a long time. it is a small place, but it is beautiful, clean and eating is amazing. the customer service was great and the house made tortillas were soouo good! look at them. I will come back!

We were traveling and looking for a place to eat and stumble this hidden gem in merced california. they were pretty busy when we arrived at 8:20. they close at 9 o'clock, but we never felt ignored. our waitress was super attentive and made time to get special requests. very good service and all inclusive of our softdrinks were delicious! 10/5 stars if I could evaluate it like that. this will be our way into the restaurant when we are in merced.

I have the agave pina. it was amazing. grilled chicken in a chili verde sauce, with grilled pineapple bites, speck and avocado. the mix of aromen mixed perfectly. very good customer service of vanessa. and the restaurant was cool on a hot day

Great! eating was generous and very, very tasty! the waitress was helpful and accommodating, even tho she was jammed! great service and had not to wait.

Love Agaves. The chips and salsa is just the right amount of spicy. No matter the dish, it's always delicious. The only negative, but not disappointing, more like an unusual surprise is the 2 or 3 item pick your own plate has to be all the same meat. Never experienced this before at another Mexican food restaurant.
