Cafe Promenade - MERANO

Located on the river, this restaurant offers very good food and coffee. My apple strudel was particularly good. The service was friendly and competent.

What superb restaurant! The decor is rather basic, but the food is excellent. The portions are large, the prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. We shall certainly return!

We visited The Cafe Promenade on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We had walked by the restaurant a couple of times late at night, and there was always a smile on the staff faces, as well as customers faces. We had pasta and their house wine. Piping hot pasta, lovely server, helpful with our language barrier. This restaurant was such a wonderful find. We are, drank and enjoyed the view of the river, a celebration next door at the church, and watched people and dogs for 2 hours. Bravo Cafe Promenade!

Beautiful setting next to the river at the promenade and the best food we have eaten in Meran. Wonderful food and very good and charming waiter.

This place was the best of all worlds on the warm summer evenings we spent in Merano. Located right along the Passer Promenade along the river, diners can sit outside while enjoying fine meals and river views. Service and food were excellent, and the ability to get a nice evening meal before the little one's bedtime was definitely a plus for us.
