Panera Bread - Mentor

The free Wi-Fi allowed me to host a Zoom meeting during my visit, but things took a turn when they started vacuuming right next to me. It goes without saying that I had to move the call outside onto the pavement.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast sandwich along with my coffee. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and polite, all wearing masks, which made it a bit difficult to hear them speak. The sandwich had delicious bread, and while the sausage could have been a bit more seasoned, it was still quite good.

I always have to be careful about what I order here! I thought the Teriyaki Chicken with Broccoli warm bowl would be a safe choice, but I was wrong. The chicken was dark meat (which should definitely be mentioned on the menu), and it was tough and stringy. I wouldn’t be as disappointed if it hadn’t been so expensive. My fiancé said his avocado chicken sandwich was fine, but the mac and cheese... well, it’s just mac and cheese.

It is hit or miss with the customer service either they are very friendly and super nice or they are simply crispy and forget them. I have never ordered the quick pick up and get the food/ drink from the close of the door. Instead, I always have to ask and wait. even if I ordered 30 minutes in advance. I'm going back because I like the food and the summer sips especially, but the customer service doesn't want me.
