Brioche Doree - Menton

We had lunchtime baquets from here three times. Chicken with salad and a small amount of fennel was super, we had it twice. Smoked salmon was good and tasted. Apple pastries were a nice treat. You can eat there or take out. There is usually a queue and now we know why.

We recently spent a week in Menton and had breakfast here a few times. The coffee was superb. The croissants and bread were fresh and tasty. Service was excellent.

Took a day trip from the promenade in Nice to Menton. The bus trip only cost 3€ all up hopping on the 9/10 & then on the 100. The total traveling time was about 2 hrs. After a lot of photos & walking the promenade, we stopped at Brioche Doree for a quick lunch. The curry chicken brioche & large orange juice came to 6.5€ for a quick lunch.

This popular chain seems to be all over France (and a lot of other countries too). They can be counted on for reliably fresh breads, sandwiches, other baked goods and drinks. Best of all, they seem to almost always be open.

Food not so good as expected ,but clean ,Also the staff is not friendly at all but the beauty and charm of Menton gives you a good experience anyway .
