The food at Octopus is consistently amazing and always surpasses my expectations! I order takeout every Wednesday, and I can't wait for my sushi nights.

I really love this restaurant! The food is always delicious. I only wish they offered delivery more frequently.

Now, here are the specifics: The sushi rolls are passable, but that's the only positive aspect I can mention about this restaurant. The service is alarmingly slow. It took 15 minutes for us to receive water at our table, and I had to ask for it twice. One of the water cups was sticky on the outside, which made me question its cleanliness. To my surprise, the rolls arrived before our cold appetizer, and it took 40 minutes for a bento box to be served even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Everything aside from the rolls lacked flavor and, quite frankly, tasted a bit off. The servers appeared disengaged, with expressions that suggested they were either overworked or, perhaps, under the thumb of a demanding owner. UPDATE: The owner has made several assertions about my visit that don't seem to align with my experience. It appears they don't even remember me days after my visit when I wrote the review. They claimed I raised my voice at the servers, which is simply untrue. They also insisted the restaurant was packed during my visit, which was not the case. Additionally, the owner mentioned Covid as a reason for the sluggish service, but it has been three years, and it’s difficult to believe that adapting to a post-Covid reality is still an issue. Given the level of gaslighting the owner seems to be exhibiting towards me, I can only speculate that they might be doing the same to their employees, passing the blame onto others and contributing to the lifeless expressions I witnessed. I initially rated this restaurant two stars, but I am now lowering it to one star. I will also take further action to shed light on the owner's mismanagement moving forward.
