Galata Bistro - Menlo Park

I brought my team here. they had a large selection of foods to meet all different food requirements (vegetarian friendly). the team loved eating. the wine list was great, but the beer selection was limited.

The food was so salty it was very disappointing. Had invited a friend to enjoy a meal together and he hardly ate. It was aweful. Will not be going back.

Food was excellent. Outside parklet is very comfortable.

The waiter was expecting us and had a table selected for us. My dinner companion is in a wheelchair, so I appreciated the thoughtfulness. After ordering the food was served timely. I had the Pomegranate Salad with two lamb skewers on the side. The salad was incredible..the arugula and all of the ingredients were fresh and it was just the right mix of sweet and savory. My friend had the Lamb Kebob entree. It came with a scoop of white rice and a small salad. My friend said the salad was tired...it looked tired, to be honest. It was a standard iceberg lettuce salad with shredded carrot. I thought it a shame. My salad was superior. How easy it would have been to make a simple salad with fresh garden greens. All in all our experience was good, but not as excellent as it could have been.

Brought the family. Everyone loved the food and the service was great. So happy to discover this place in Menlo Park. Looking forward to coming back for a date night. The hot sampler, octopus, and lamb shank were a hit!
