Meningie Bakery

Sadly my parents from NZ were travelling and wanted to stop for some good food. Unfortunately they were ignored and the lady walked out on them, wthout acknowledging them. So sad as the food looked beautiful. They ended up walking out as they had service. Not sure what that was about.

Nice, friendly staff with a good sense of community. Had the pizza pie because it came highly recommended by a regular.

Omg, the staff bent over backwards for my mum's special needs. They made both of us feel like VIP's. Mum and I both agree that the salad rolls are the best we've had. Thank you for everything

We found that the pastry was dry on the cheese cranksky the fresh fruit was ok on top but starting to go off underneath expensive. We had vanilla milk shakes which were very poorly made, just milk no taste to them.

Do yourself a favour and stop by this bakery. It was fantastic. I had no idea what a Ned Kelly pie was before entering Meningie bakery. Its a meat pie with an egg on top with a slice of tomato . It was fantastic. Had to order a Nippys ice coffee to compliment it. A very underrated iced coffee I'd have to say and made not to far away in Waikerie. A huge selection of cakes and pastries but I didn't get that far as it was only breakfast time when I stopped in.
