Anna Bistro - Mendoza

This restaurant is always recommended. The garden is very pleasant. I'm probably not going to visit again, but if I were, I would get a coffee and dessert or a cold beer and fries. I wouldn't mind much more.

We came with great expectations, the venue is excellent and the reviews are top notch, but that is where it stops. It is a nice restaurant that aims to be top notch, but has the finesse of a fast food diner. The only wine on the glass is a red, a white and a sparkling. Red and white were barely drinkable. Local bars and cafes offer an excellent selection! If you ask if you can try the house wine, say it's not domestic policy! The bread basket was not the usual hot fresh bread, but an old baguette. Salmon was unusable, as it was old with an unpleasant taste, the chips a healthy mess in the middle of the table. What a special evening should have been was a rush to the door. The salmon was included in the bill, although he had told the waiter that it was terrible and the record returned. It was only deducted from the bill when I said I didn't want to pay for it

We came very early to Argentine standards, 8:00. We had no reservation and there were no problems finding a table in the almost empty restaurant (there were about 4-5 more tables). It took 20 minutes before I finally went to the host and asked for... some attention to our table. We had Martinis that I would not order again and a bottle of wine that was a good value. The food we ordered was average. We wouldn't go back or recommend this place to others.

I ate for dinner. Steak was excellent. The service was very friendly. You have a nice selection of wine. It is a cheaper restaurant, but it is worth it.

The service was five of five. The food was four of five. We ordered the Caesar salad, and it was a little unexpected kind of a honey mustard dressing. The gigot de cordero was ok, but also not quite what we expected. They have...an excellent selection of wines to fit all budgets. Ambience is lovely too.
