Cross Keys - Mendip

I recently visited this restaurant as a local and had a great experience. I started off with a drink and some banter, along with a packet of crisps, but decided to try some food as well. I ordered a small roast for £6.50, which was delicious. My companion also enjoyed their meal, although I can't remember exactly what they had. The roast came with vegetables that they ate, and we both found the meal to be well worth the price. Overall, a really nice experience with all good aspects.

This pub is just up the road from our business on marstons trading estate so we visit in all states of attire. The staff and customers are so friendly it really is a pleasure to spend time there and judging by the plates of food that are delivered to diners it certainly looks delicious. .can only presume it is as haven't ate there yet but will soon. Was impressed by a sizzling meat dish served on a hot scillet with loads of chips but only had time for a bag of crisps with a pickled egg...still delicious though. We also had a pint of lilleys cider...nice and local of course..they also have a unit on the trading estate. This pub is a proper pub with real people and fab food. ..lovely beer garden and just on the edge of frome.

Had a nice few drinks in this cozy winter pub at a nearby airbnb. this place was warm and welcoming. We didn't eat here, but I'd like to try again next time.

The food is delicious. Extensive menu makes it hard to make a choice. Means having to go back again to try something else. It's a lovely oldie world pub. The background music was right up my street. The staff are friendly and helpful. First class.

A really nice looking building,lots of character things to look at. Good Selection of beers gins a good menu with seasonal produce. If I found myself in area again I would certainly return. Staff were all very pleasant. I didnt get to see the village peacock though ! In all a very nice evening.
