Restaurant Etchebarne - Mendionde

We were close for 1 night and our host suggested we eat here. we were welcome. the restaurant was for a Sunday evening full of locals. the staff was very pleasant and the service was good. the food was very nice and very plentiful. as far as we were able to say everything, the local homemade was farewell. (plat du jours) Veg soup followed by a starter of fish or a meat then we chose piperrade that came with a confiscated bone and sink. then followed local cheese and finally desert! all rounded with caffe. the cost for the menu were 20euro each. simply amazing worth for a very good meal. we will visit again when we are next in the opposite.

Midst februar 13/02/2013 a sunny day, we visited this family-run hotel restaurant. we had lunch in this beautiful village, in the hard baskenland. we had a set menu at €12.00 and a children's menu at €9.00 We...had to start a suppe garbure, then a nice cold cable mayonnaise salat, which was very tasty, and as a main course we had served a kalbs escalope with some garlic chips. it was a generous portion very fresh and very well cooked! my children had served as an appetizer the same suppengarage then as a main course a beautiful pork fillet with garlic chips (many portion also! as desert we had a selection of chocolate mousses, local cheese served with broth and cherry, pfirsich cake or ice cream. we have chosen everything! it was beautiful, especially the local cheese. I had two coffees and one store, and the bill was 43.00! what a bargain! the service was very pleasant, helpful, the patron even offered some water for our dog. we really want to recommend this place, I think they deserve it! they can say they are quietly busy with the locals. well done!

Très bon déjeuner pris sur la petite terrasse sans chichi face à l'entrée du restaurant. Accueil très sympa, produits frais du pays et cuisine familiale et excellente.

Entre amis et conseillé par notre amis Basque avec nous. Menu ouvrier excellent et goûteux. Bonne ambiance générale et cuisine familiale de très bon niveau. N'hésitez pas à vous y arrêtez.

Très bon restaurant que je connaissais déjà. Que ce soit le patron ou le personnel tout le monde est souriant et l'accueillant . Restaurant très propre et nourriture de très bonne qualité. Faut y aller , vous ne serez pas déçu
