Vietnam - Memphis

This restaurant in midtown serves the best pho. I usually order a small bowl with meatballs and I always have leftover. They provide a lot of condiments, including all the sauces you would expect to find on the table.

Pho Vietnam is without a doubt my top choice for dining in Memphis. I have frequented this restaurant multiple times for lunch dates with my wife, who works nearby. Whenever she asks where I want to eat, my first recommendation is always Pho Vietnam. Be prepared for a busy crowd if you choose to visit during lunch hours, as the restaurant is located in the bustling medical district and tends to be packed for good reason.

I ordered the Banh Mi Thap Cam (Vietnamese Special Sandwich) and the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork. It was absolutely delicious. The bowls of Pho being served were huge and smelled amazing. The atmosphere is nice, with fish tanks and a lot of locals. The fluorescent lights were a bit dull, but who cares. Just come and eat here. Trust me. Yum.

They make the best banh mi in the area. Pho and beef stew are always solid and come with a copious amount of garnishes. Only downside is that not all servers understand/speak English which can lead to some confusion with ordering.

I absolutely love this place. Real Vietnamese. Sometimes it can be crowded, that's a sign of good food. Today it wasn't. Speedy service! I always come back.
