Sweet Grass - Memphis

I really enjoyed the frittata—what a delicious dish! Sweet Grass was an excellent bar and restaurant located in Cooper Young. Unfortunately, it closed its doors for good on April 17, 2022. I’m really going to miss it!

The food was absolutely delicious! However, I had an unsettling experience with a dog that seemed to be wandering around like a person. While I do adore dogs, I really don’t want one underneath my table while I’m trying to enjoy my meal. I was quite anxious when I noticed the dog following me to the bathroom. It felt quite unsanitary and off-putting.

The staff was friendly, but I found a hair in my food. They addressed the issue promptly, but it does raise concerns about whether the kitchen staff is wearing hairnets.

Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Comments: nice day in the city so we decided to stop here for brunch. Kinda bummed they didn't have outdoor seating. Our server was very nice, and I felt bad for her since it seems like she was the only one working that day. Got the Badass nachos since there were a few pics of them and...meh. I wasn't completely underwhelmed, but they got the job done in terms of curbing my hunger.

Very hospitable staff.I was able to find couple items without any meat and eggs and thats a blessing for vegetarians in Memphis.Tried the General so Cauliflower, fettuccine Alfredo and butternut squash bisque.Though the portions might seem small initially but as and when you delve in you realize it's so much filling.Kudos to the chef and my pretty, hospital and amazing host.
