Olive Garden Restaurant - Memphis

Wait time was 45 minutes and that was expected. The parking is crazy due to roughly 10-12 parking spots empty in front for carry out orders. The hostess Deora was more consumed with her cell phone and texting instead of helping people in the lobby to check in. So much so she had her charger plugged in at the front for her phone. VERY unprofessional. Food ended up being great but the service was poor. Texas Roadhouse next time for sure!

Food was great, as always. But these kids! The hostess, Deoro was extremely rude. There was a 45 min wait to be seated, which was fine. But the hostess was on her phone/social media the entire time and would let out an annoyed sigh, when someone needed her to work. Someone please teach these kids manners and work ethic. Not a good look for Olive Garden.

For some reason, we decided to give Olive Garden a try since it had been a few years since our last visit. Upon arrival, I noticed the bar was pretty much empty. I asked the hostess if that area was first come, first served. She told me that it wasn't possible because the area was dirty. I looked over her shoulder and then noticed the many plates all over the bar and on every single table in that section. At that point, we should have left. We were told that the wait would only be 10-15. Unfortunately, it took over 45 minutes to receive the text informing us that our table was ready. It was quite obvious that they were understaffed. Dirty plates were all over the restaurant. Our server was nice and the food was good, which helped. I loved having the option to substitute the noodles for broccoli to make it a healthier option. These two reasons are why the rating for this restaurant is three stars. However, I would recommend that if a person felt compelled to dine at Olive Garden, they chose another location because this one needs help!

Great atmosphere. Lunch crowd was light on Saturday, so we were able to get seated quickly. Food was fresh and hot. Had the chicken and shrimp carbonara and chocolate brownie lasagna

Service at this particular Olive Garden restaurant was below what I had expected for the chain's image service was horrible the server that was a sign to our table seemed to have had other things going on that day and she wasn't operating on all 4 cylinders we never got our salad the bread sticks were cold and the food was extremely late and not warm we had to send everything back and up on re delivery of certain items those 2 had to go back. I highly recommend a massive restructuring of this Olive Garden to meet the national standard that you would expect for a 15 to $25 a plate considering in the world where gas prices are $5 a gallon I really wish they would get their s together.
