Memphis Soul Southern Cooking

I dined at Memphis Soul tonight, and it was an absolute delight. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious! After attending a conference in Memphis for a week, I can confidently say that this was the best food and service I've experienced. The restaurant has a vibrant, charming atmosphere. If you get the opportunity, definitely go – you will love it!

The food here is simply outstanding! I tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was fantastic. The cornbread muffins were delightful as well, and the portions are quite generous. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back and bringing others along.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food is amazing! We went with a large group, and they made sure we were well taken care of and everything ran smoothly. The gentleman in the photo was exceptionally kind and took care of any issues that came up. He really went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return since I missed out on trying their dressing. Lol!

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. The wait for the food was excessively long, the chicken was tasteless, and the mac and cheese was overly salty. I certainly won’t be coming back. Save your money and steer clear of this place!

For drinks, we chose the Obama iced tea and lemonade mix, which was poured a bit messily from pre-made bottles. It might be better to stick with water or soda instead. Overall, this was probably our favorite meal in Memphis, and I highly recommend you give it a try!
