Las Brasas - Memphis

I dropped by for a quick lunch after checking out the Farmers Market next door, which has a great selection of ethnic foods like Korean, Chinese, Central American, Mexican, and South Asian. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was both convenient and enjoyable. Although the restaurant is small, the intricately carved and vibrantly painted chairs and tables added charm. The menu featured a variety of Mexican dishes, and we decided to try the tamales wrapped in banana leaves. They were decent but not exceptional. On the plus side, the Modelo Negra beers were cold and hit the spot. Overall, the bill was very reasonable.

My friends and I visited last night, and we had a fantastic time singing karaoke. The service was excellent—very family-friendly—and the food was delicious! We will definitely be coming back. Don’t forget to tip the waitress; she truly deserves it!

The server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was lively with upbeat Hispanic music playing at an enjoyable volume. My only slight drawback was that the prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes. The chicken tacos were flavorful, the rice was cooked just right, and the plantains were perfectly prepared, accompanied by Mexican cream and cheese. Everything was so tasty!

The staff there are very friendly.
