Itta Bena - Memphis

Service was spectacular, loved the music. It really added to the ambiance. The red snapper was the biggest fish I’ve ever seen, however the food was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The saxophone player sounded amazing, he really made the experience unforgettable.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner in a private room for two, which made it very romantic. The host was genuinely enthusiastic about my celebration. My server was not only attentive but also quite handsome. The restaurant itself was beautiful, both inside and out, with a lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The "she crab" soup should not be advertised as such. The term "she crab" suggests that it would contain crab roe, but it did not—far from it. The soup was essentially warm milk with a hint of crumb taste and just a few pieces of crab meat. It was quite disappointing. Thankfully, the friendly waiter took it off the bill. However, the lamb was delicious. The highlight of the evening on Wednesday, January 18th, was the wonderful musical performance by the singer and pianist. She was charming and her soft vocals created a lovely atmosphere. Well done!

The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
