B.b. King's Blues Club - Memphis

During my visit to Memphis, I stopped by the famous Beale Street and had lunch at the renowned B.B. King's Blues Club. While there wasn't a live band performing during the day, the vibe was still electric, and you could almost feel the blues music playing in the background. Though the BBQ ribs are their signature dish, I opted for the Blackened Catfish and Shrimp Creole, which was incredibly flavorful and had a nice kick to it. If you're a fan of Cajun cuisine, I highly recommend trying this dish—it's excellent! The service was exceptional too. If you're just passing through Memphis, don't miss the chance to experience this place. Plus, parking is convenient, located in the garage right behind the venue.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary on Beale Street and decided to visit BB King's Blues Cafe. The live music was truly incredible! My wife enjoyed two of their signature "Lucille" cocktails, while I savored an amazing pulled pork sandwich. She had the fall-off-the-bone ribs, and we also tried the gumbo, which was loaded with meat and had just the right amount of heat! For dessert, we indulged in their house special bread pudding. A special shout-out to our fantastic server, Panda, who made our visit even more enjoyable! I highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance—you won’t regret it!

We had a fantastic time at the Memphis Jones live band show. The food was delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. We arrived around 5:00 PM on a Monday in March, and there was no wait to get in. Originally, two of us planned to order the ribs, but since they were sold out, we opted for the Chicken and Waffles and Meatloaf instead. The 14-year-olds chose wings and a Fried Platter. The Chicken and Waffles were excellent, and the Meatloaf was quite tasty as well. The wings were generous in size and cooked to perfection. Surprisingly, even the 14-year-old who claims she doesn’t like fish enjoyed the catfish! If you arrive early enough, it's a fantastic spot to introduce teens to live music and a bit of music history.

Service was the best out of everywhere we went. The live music was wonderful to listen to. Make sure you get there before 8 because there is a cover charge. All the food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We were happy and full. Also if you have food allergies you can be confident ordering here. They do take care to use separate fryers and use all means to prevent cross contamination. Cook even came out to say hi and assist with our huge order

Great Vibe Even on a Monday night Band was fantastic. Loud, Fun, tons of energy. People dancing every where at 8 pm. Decent food. Ribs were good not great. Shrimp and grits good. Nachos too much. Service is friendly but understaffed. $10 cover but best music stop in Memphis.
