Babalu East Memphis

The staff was great and made accommodations so we can sit outside. the table side guac with jalapeños and speck was phenomenal. the whole food was delivered hot and our orders were correct. I will visit again when I am in the opposite.

When we first got there, we stood waiting to be seated and no one even acknowledged us. Finally someone came after about 7 minutes and sat us. After that our server was great. Super knowledgeable about all the food and drinks and had great recommendations. The chicken and steak tacos were excellent. The duck taco was ok but not my favorite.

The first time here and loved it. the queso for chips is absolutely the best I ever had no idea why. chips with a higher structural integrity would be nice. the tequila burger was delicious and brot was for dying. but you don't want to, because you're going to go on. highly recommended.

Let me first say that the manager went on today 7-29-2021 layer over and over excellent customer service. I ordered fried garnelen tacos and a side order of the pommes go online. I received my online order in time, but when I was in the office the garnelen was not edible. Therefore I contacted the manager who said he would bring my order personally to me after he revived it. After he had accidentally given him the wrong situation, he still came with a smile and presented my hot food. during our first call he suggested why eating had become soggy and recommended alternative options. I have to send love and recognition when it's due, so a big screams to the manager who is currently in a position of 1:50. my suggestion for anyone who ordered online food with a request of the garnelen tacos is to order the grilled garnels with rosti kartoffels. These kartoffels were worth it, so they were holding the fries as they can get so cheeky on the way to their destination. overall I was satisfied with the second move.

My wife and I love this restaurant. our server (justin) was very polite and helpful. Actually, it's one of the best brunchspots in all memphis.
