Nice Pie - Melton Mowbray

As for the food, the torte was generously filled with quality meat and came with a proper gravy on the side. The portion was substantial and delicious, although I personally would have preferred a bit more cheese. I found the pricing quite reasonable given the amount and quality of meat in the pie — £11.50 for the meal including cake and chips. We also enjoyed some cake rolls with our tea, which were equally delightful. On the service side, while the staff was friendly and polite, they tended to stay hidden behind the counter, making it a bit unclear for new customers how to place an order, as the menus were tucked away instead of being available on the tables. Additionally, it would be a nice improvement for them to have a beverage refrigerator accessible on the floor. Overall, a solid stop with potential for better customer experience.

Last Thursday, I discovered a lovely restaurant. All three of us enjoyed the cakes; however, it's a pity they only offer fries. Mashed potatoes would be much better, as not everyone likes fries. The pie was much better. I will definitely return and just have the torte and gravy next time.

I stumbled upon this pie while driving, and I couldn't resist stopping because of the enticing road sign! The family-sized portions are a great deal, and they did not disappoint—everything was delicious! The outdoor seating area is lovely, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful landscape. It's also a great spot for bikers, with little playgrounds for small children to enjoy.

The afternoon is fantastic generous portions and especially beautiful scorpses and cakes. I would recommend ordering one between three, or if only two of them then bring some tuperware to home with them! the somewhat more expensive afternoon tea comes on a small picnic table that is extra charming. I would also recommend the chocolate brownie shader again, need to exchange between > 2 people but extremely tasty and very bad for them I am sure. to round it off, the setting is beautiful and the animals outside and the small but perfectly shaped soft game keeps our little one that entertains for hours!

Me and my baby and a good friend went for lunch and ordered the pie of the day which was either chicken and mushroom or melton steak with cold or hot sides. From start to finish we was made to feel very welcome and when all highchairs were in use a gentleman went over to fetch another so my baby could enjoy lunch with us. Nothing was too much and we had a chat about some new additions that's coming soon for babies/young children. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, will be visiting again soon I hope.
