Santa Fe Burrito Grill Melrose

I want to like this place. It's better than Papa Geno's or an empty storefront and the staff were nice. But, that was an unsatisfying meal. The ingredients were pretty bland, piled high, but put together sloppily. Kind of like Moe's. Tenoch and Mexico Lindo are much better quality.

The staff was really nice, and the set up was easy and clear. The food, though was okay. I ordered 3 burrito bowls and an order of churros and a large horchata. The horchata was delicious, but the churros were raw in the middle, but that may be because they were filled with a sort of caramel.The dowels were well filled, and some added toppings had additional charge. But the only thing that I didn't like was that in one of the orders, the meat was dry. I ordered chicken, steak, and barbacoa, and the steak was dry, as they were diced into cubes and thoroughly cooked.Also, certain meats had an additional.cost, so keep an eye out for that when ordering.Overall, the food wasn't too bad, but I may look for another restaurant to see the areas differences.

They always have a great experience when they order from here. they opened during the covid and we finally came to try them a few months ago. they never disappointed us with their eating. it is our way to any time we want burritos or tacos! the staff is very friendly and the prices are average. have recommended and will continue to recommend this place to anyone looking for a big Burrito spot.

The staff was a lovely bunch of young guys, they were very pleasant and helpful. The space is really nice, very open with several different sections and a nice flow. And, really beautiful wall art. (My 15 month old really enjoyed all the room to crawl, and loved pulling himself up on the metal chairs!)The food: my mom and I both had the same items, hers in a bowl and mine a burrito form. Yellow rice, black beans, grilled veggies, salsa guac. The grilled veggies were mainly onions with a few green peppers and maybe a few zucchini slices. I love onions but would be really nice to have a good mix, some sweet potatoes, broccoli, red peppers, corn etc.Beer is on the menu but not yet in house- excited for that! We were told it’s coming soon.Lovely staff space, food could use a little work but definitely not bad.

Ordered a few times and food is ok. Its never been terrible but there isnt enough taste to differenciate it from other mexican food.
