Sometimes you end up waiting a little while for your order to be taken too. However, their veg laksa saves the day and will keep me loyal to them for a long time to come.
Really good Bahn Mi up there with the best! Roast pork was incredible, so juicy and plenty of crackling which added nice salty flavour and crunch.
Had the grilled chicken with rice. It came with some Nick Cham dipping sauce which was a nice accompaniment. For the price $13) it was pretty good — basic but flavoursome. The place is distractingly loud and the service is no nonsense, but that’s not really what you come for. A solid feed.
Yummy baby vegetable and tofu laksa bowls for entree went perfectly with the vegan vermicelli rice noodle bowl, and fast food service, sadly were out of the 3 colour drink but the ice coffee made up for it.
ToFeedTwo became ToFeedSeven for a birthday celebration. A bustling, fun restaurant that is popular for a very good reason. A must for those wanting decent Viet!!!<br/ <br/ We started off with multiple entrees which included Chicken Satay Skewers, San Choi Bao and not photographed, but Rice Paper Rolls. The Satay sauce with the skewers has to be tasted to be believed one of the best we've had (with a bit of kick! and the San Choi Bao was great, full of flavour. <br/ <br/ Mains included Noodles with Laksa Soup with Chicken, Soft Egg Noodles with Chicken Vegetables, Soft Egg Noodles with combination, Rice Vermicelli with stir fried Lemongrass Beef Spring Rolls and Rice Vermicelli with stir fried Lemongrass Chicken Spring Rolls. The Bun's are a great size and very filling, easily up there with the best in Melbourne. All mains were beautiful and no one faulted their meals.
