Tom Toon 3 - Melbourne

We finally made it to this wonderful restaurant for dinner and were impressed by the wide variety of Thai food, mainly Isaan style cuisine. Despite its small size, the place was packed with Thai people, which is always a good sign. It may be a bit cramped and we were seated in a less than ideal spot, but the delicious food made up for it. We tried three dishes and all of them were authentic and tasty. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a true Thai dining experience. It's definitely worth a visit.

I come here during my lunch break from time to time and have always enjoyed it. The customer service is great, food is delicious and at a reasonable price. Good for a casual lunch or a quick lunch break during the week. I can't go past the Pad Thai, yum!

The restaurant is small, basic, sparse but comfortable. The family that run it very friendly. My family of 4 went for tea last night on TripAdvisor recommendation.The food was great, freshly cooked and excellently priced. The service was fast and good cold water to drink. The coconut rice to kill for. Having 4 entrees and mains to share, Good size meals with plenty to share. Would highly recommend for hood Thai food with low cost, $18 each for entree, main and rice. Will definitely return when in Melbourne.

Found this little eatery last year and couldn't wait to review it. One year later and we are back in Melbourne and this was high on my list of eating out. It only seats about 24, but don't let that odd decor and tight seating fool you. This is true Malaysian/ Thai food, run by just two lovely ladies who were born to cook brilliantly. Nothing too fancy, just good food and 'oh boy' plenty of it. The Pad Thai is to die for and once hooked you will return again and again. By the way, most meals are around the ten dollar mark, so again please believe me, don't be fooled into thinking that this is too good to be true. It's good and it's true.

Dinner with my husband at Tom Toon on a Friday night. Beautiful authentic Thai food. Fresh and well priced. Pad Thai $9.50. Massman beef Curry $9.50, large servings. Side of rice $2. Meals were quick. friendly staff. Could not fault the restaurant. Would definately return.
