The Carron - Melbourne

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it one of the nicest encounters since I arrived in Melbourne. I would definitely go back without hesitation.

Last week we're gone, apparently it's been sold in the last weeks, and the new owners have shut it down. the steak was good.

This restaurant has a welcoming staff and a wide selection of craft beers. They also offer delicious cured meat snacks. I really enjoy this place and always stop by on my way home when I'm in Melbourne.

We called to the carron on the way to see a band in the festival hall, and it was great! service was on place, meals were huge and good priced, drinks were good a good hold when they were like an uncomplicated pub.

Had dinner here on a recent business trip to melbourne and had a good meal. they were alone, and they were pretty crowded when I showed up, but they asked me to wait a few minutes while they moved a table and entertained me. the steak was great as that was dessert. lemon cursed tart was good. they also allowed me to order a few glasses of red when I placed my food order on the bar, and happily brought me over the second glass on halfway through the steak. best to try to book because it is not that big and overcrowded. it will eat happy there again. good selection of beer too.
