Sushi Link - Melbourne

I used to work right near this shop. I stopped going after i got sick after eating here. Obviously i can't be sure it was the sushi, but there are plenty of other choices in Fitzroy and i have exercised that choice since.

This little shop is great value for take away or sit in. The sushi is good and ready prepared although very fresh.

Dropped in to Sushi Link for Saturday lunch and was surprised that it was nearly empty at 1.30 pm. The staff were very friendly and helpful including the chef who delivered the meals to our table. We ordered 2 mains - the Char Kway Teo...More

I've eaten lots of Japanese food around the world and I'm sorry to say this was in the lowest quarter of quality. The miso soup had an odd flavour and the wok fried noodles were drenched in that awful msg laden oyster sauce that sucks all moisture from your mouth and body. The sushi rolls are okay but make sure you get the one you asked for. my girlfriend was given the wrong one and they wouldn't exchange it and didn't apologise. In conclusion this is a cheap Chinese buffet style place, masquerading as 'Japanese and Chinese cuisine'. avoid.

Sushi Link is one of those places that does the job it sets out to doQuick food on the go that is not your run of the mill affair.
