Stuzzichino Caffe - Melbourne

The restaurant lacks ambiance with very basic furniture and decor. The food was extremely disappointing and overpriced. I ordered the veal scallopini and found the veal to be chunky, chewy, tasteless, and gristly. It was accompanied by a tasty mushroom sauce that overwhelmed the mashed potatoes, with no other vegetables served.

The meal was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was delightful and I enjoyed watching people pass by.

Very good Italian food, we managed to squeeze in our lunch order before the cafe closed for their​ afternoon break. We had carbonara fettuccine, ham and pineapple pizza and a cheeseburger - all of which were simply delicious. Decent portions and reasonable prices.

What a great breakfast menu. So many good choices. Large serves too. Only downside was i think they forgot our coffee order.

For a quick 'special' pizza lunch for $15 you cannot go past Stuzzichino. My friend and I shared a anchovy and olive pizza. Perfect with a glass of wine. The service was attentive but not intrusive.
