Possibly the best steak I have tasted for quite some time. Obviously when getting quality, you have to pay for it, but for the odd occasion this place is a must (or when someone else is paying the bill Wine list is substantial, but not over the top. Waiters are always great to deal with and extremely helpful.

Visited here this week for our anniversary. We was looking forward to ending our trip to Melbourne with a great meal. What we ordered: COFFIN BAY OYSTERS Kilpatrick GARLIC BREAD RUMP STEAK , medium well (no blood) PEPPERCORN SAUCE GREEK SALAD RIB EYE ON THE BONE, medium MUSHROOM SAUCE Red wine sparkling wine The starters were amazing! Highly recommend the oysters. Garlic bread really yummy. Mains Rump undercooked! And yes, there was blood. I had already poured my sauce on before I was asked would I like it chucked back on the grill. Rib eye was medium well, not cooked as requested. I could not eat my steak due to the blood. I shared some of my partners. Salad was beautiful. Sauces were great. We was offered 50% of the rump steak. We accepted although left feeling unhappy with our experience. I can imagine when done well it’s a great experience.

Steak superb in taste, texture and prepared according to my preference . Sides and sallads great. Nice wine list with wide selection. Great service from the staff. Recommended!

We stumbled across this when deciding where to eat, and we were not disappointed. The sauces are made in-house and are delicious. The food is amazing and I wish I could say there is a must try, but everything that we had was equally as good. Although, the warm sticky date pudding was something extra with house made butterscotch sauce. This time, I had an eye fillet steak and it was so good. Next time I plan for the ribs. It’s not a cheap meal but the food was premium quality and very fresh. Would not have been shocked if my steak mooed when I ate it.

2 empty stomachs went for a feast and really enjoyed it! We ordered the Tomahawk steak for medium rare and this was the absolute perfect combo! The beef was very very tender with just the right level of juiciness. We had broccolini and garden salads on the side and mushroom and garlic sauces. Acceptable price for the serve size too. We were so full after having it! I strongly recommend this the whole experience was great! Few limitations might be: 1) the two salad sides were a bit too small especially the broccolini one there were only a few broccolini; 2) the steak was amazing but the gravy was a bit too sour for us it kind of hid the flavor of the beef itself
