I just really love souvlaki king. I go every time in Melbourne. Sometimes I'll just go at 1 in the morning even if I've already eaten dinner. Only downside is that if you go when it's not as busy they're not turning the meat over as quickly and it can get overcooked and dry and the size has varied wildly but even the smallest souv was big enough.
A night out in Brunswick Street wouldn't be the same without a quick visit to the souvlaki King! I have eaten here on numerous occasions both sober and also after a few. They consistently offer the best souvlaki in Melbourne. Apart from fresh salads it all comes down to the quality of the meat. It's the main event and this place always puts on a show!<br/ <br/ <br/
I recently visited a trendy souvlaki restaurant in Fitzroy and had a great experience. It was bustling with people who had just finished clubbing and were looking for a late-night meal. The cashier had a beautiful smile and the chef was skillfully cooking skewers of lamb over burning charcoal. The souvlaki was delicious, with plenty of meat and garlic sauce. They also offered unique options like hangover souvlaki, Aussie souvlaki, and Greek island souvlaki. Overall, it was definitely worth a try.
Nothing more to say.... Best kebab in Melbourne!!! Always delicious and the guys and gals behind the counter are like old friends.... Great way to finish a great night out..
