Shanghai Dragon Dumpling House (Prahan)

The Masala Lounge is quite simply the best Indian restaurant and Takeaway in Rugby.

The food here was nice, just niceIt was enjoyable but it didn't have a WOW factor.

Having read some of the reviews here, I was a bit cautious about what to expectIn the event, we enjoyed our Masala experience very much.

This restaurant is a vast improvement over the CBD location. The atmosphere, service, and speed are much better. The dumplings had a deliciously plump filling.

This is my favorite dumpling spot on Chapel Street. The dumplings are like little pockets of heaven - filled with tasty and succulent minced pork surrounded by delicious soup. Be sure to dip them in a mixture of vinegar and chili oil for an extra kick. The San Jian Bao here is also amazing, with its crispy base! I would recommend sticking to these two dishes, as they are the most consistently delicious. We tried the hot and sour soup noodles for something different, but unfortunately, the combination didn't work. The noodles didn't soak up the soup and tasted bland, and the soup itself wasn't very flavorful. Despite this, I would still return for the dumplings - they are the perfect remedy for winter.
