Pappa's Fish & Chips - Melbourne

Tried this place for the first time this evening and was very disappointed. The foiled package of grilled "flake" contained not one but two hairs; the "flake" tasted nothing like flake; and the taste of the chips, potato cakes and dim sims suggested their oil is long past its change date.

Pappa sold out and made a killing i hope. Just as ain't the same anyone. Too commercial - homely style gone unfortunately.

This place does awesome chips, but used to be better when the original Papa was there. Still great for a Friday night in!
