Oriental Teahouse - Melbourne

Came in here at 1pm for their Yum Cha and had s great experienceVariety of dumplings, meats, rice etceverything was top notch.

I went to the Oriental Tea House on Friday night with my team at work.

I ordered the pork buns for a takeaway I was a bit surprised when I opened the box They looked like they were still raw.

We have stood up on a busy Saturday night without a booking, but we managed to get places on the bar. the staff was all so friendly and helpful. delicious eating. a bit more expensive from a fancy night than casual dumplings. but that was worth it. the mushroom dumplings are my favorite type, they are the crystal dumplings that use a translucent / sticky dough. we ordered an additional service!

I wanted to try a new place for dinner after a movie in the city and see it on hc. we ordered a few nets and asked the person who served us if we were ordered enough. Of course we were sold up and wished we had not ordered the mushroom dumplings 13.50, which were sticky and imperceptibly in taste, although the dipping sauce was superior. they gave us an extra to make four more and pay more than a third of the original price! the Chinese brokkoli was in order, but a small amount, like a one, costs $14. the best dish, reasonable in size and quality, was the vegan salt and pfeffer tofu 15). Unfortunately, our last dish, the whole panfried aubergine 19,) was while a decent size, lack of taste and was disappointing. it also came with some unclear nudes that I was not happy. we were advised that this was a new court and we offered a corresponding feedback. the overall experience made me cold and not particularly inclined to go back.
