Heritage Indian Heidelberg - Melbourne

I didn't actually dine in. I had a takeaway from Uber from here. I've been in Australia for nearly 20 years. Prior to that England. Manchester and Birmingham, the curry capitals of the world. I know my indian food! The food from this place is either the best or the second best Indian food I've ever had. Everything about it was perfect. This is now in my Google KEEP Iist of the best Australian restaurants. It's the top for Melbourne and Victoria

Great food! We were in the area and we’re looking what was open on a Monday night. Most places were shut but not this gem! It felt super authentic. The food was tasty, and the service was spot on, they even asked me if I wanted another beer when I was still two sips away from finishing the previous beer, excellent service. We had the mixed entrées, the tandoori platter (five serves), the fish curry, rich and garlic naan. It was probably enough for 3-4 people. So I’ve got lunch sorted tomorrow, happy with that, it was all tasty! The bill came to just under 100 bucks, not that considering there’s a couple of beers in there. Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

I LOVE this place. Get take away or delivery every couple of weeks. The yummiest food at a very good price, and I always have enough for 2 meals. Highly, highly recommend :
