Hawkers Corner - Melbourne

Came for a quick take away lunch (although you can eat inside or outside st the front or rear on the deck). Service was fast and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I ordered a chicken laksa. Only downside that they don’t have roti bread to go with it. Located right opposite the NAB village this place has a solid customer base who come back time and time again. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Takeaway or eat in. Some food is already made up but mostly it’s cooked fresh for you in a short period of time.

I really enjoy their vegetarian laksa. The bowl of soup is huge and packed with delicious flavors! The restaurant can get very crowded during lunchtime. They offer a wide variety of dishes on their menu. It is definitely worth checking out.

The restaurant has shown significant improvement recently, but it's important to choose your dishes wisely. The chicken curry laksa and Char Kway Teow are excellent choices. However, the Banh Mi falls short and is best avoided unless you really have a craving for it. The chili station in the middle of the restaurant offers a variety of options to spice up your meal.

The Char Keow Teow and Nasi Goreng at this restaurant are exceptional. The portions are typically very generous and the food is always bursting with flavor. However, do not anticipate a high level of service.
