Gazi - Melbourne

I was so excited to book this restaurant, it's been on my list for a while and is hard to get into.

Once again on a business trip, looking for a place that is easy to eat alone at and this place was great.

Well if you consider this street food, then yes of course it is yummy! Would I consider it restaurant quality, hmm, I don't think so. It is bordering between a high end fast food joint and the lower end of restaurant. The service wasn't good, we waited for a good 10mins before anyone stop by our table just to give us the menu, even then we had to get their attention first. It is at about 4pm, not even peak time and the place was about 30-40% filled up.We had the slouvlaki beef, moussaka taco, fish and chocolate souffle which was good. Would I go back again? Most probably not

Amazing!!! Came here with friends and had the tasting menu. This was awesome. The crab souvlakia was so tasty. Really friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

Fabulous night at Gazi with family. The restaurant was full and buzzing. A great atmosphere.The food is delicious, modern Greek with a twist. The soft shell crab souvlaki are to die for. We had prawns, scallops, tabouli and the tenderest leg of lamb.I can't wait to go back!!
