Contribuiți la feedbackThere's not a lot of ice cream options on Bridge Road, so Fritz is our go to on a hot day. It's a small space with a few tables out the front; but it's generally clean and tidy. <br/ <br/ The range is fairly limited, but they do have some delicious flavours like fig and almond, and raspberry white chocolate. The gelato is nice and creamy, and the flavours really shine through. Staff are also lovely, so we often pop in for a scoop or two when the weather is good.
Nice and fresh gelato. Place was toasty warm on cold autumn night. Highlight flavours to me were chocolate , passion fruit, and the coffee one my sour cherry was just ok.
You can't go wrong with gelato here. This place is open late until 11:30 pm, and the serving size is generous for the price of $7. The lady serving was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend trying the honeycomb flavor!
We tried the strawberry sundae, lemon sorbet, as well as blood orange and passionfruit sorbets (priced at $8 for 2 scoops). The strawberry sundae was creamy with chocolate bits, providing a pleasant surprise. All the sorbets were fruity and smooth, with the lemon being my favorite due to its refreshing taste and visible specks of lemon zest. Despite a long queue (which is expected at the show), the service was efficient and friendly. The staff even allowed us to use our entertainment voucher, a pleasant surprise that added to the overall value of our experience.
Craving for gelato in this cold weather can be quite frustrating. Some gelato joints close for the winter break (Hello Gelo and iScream, I'm looking at you) and I'm left with the old faithfuls when I need my craving satisfied. The always reliable Fritz Gelato is one of my go-to in such cases. Never had any issue with their service and quality of the gelato. The gelato here are pretty spot on in texture and flavours, albeit having less variety to choose from compared to many other gelato shops. This may be why I always order the panacotta and berry flavour, and any special flavours that they have on rotation to try out new things. If all else failed, stick to boring old vanilla, in my humble opinion, it's way much better than the strawberry, coffee and even salted caramel.
