God this place is goodFed up and dismayed with the dismal and uninspiring options around the place; I decided To give this a go.

Favorite local spot (coming from a New Yorker!) They know how to make a base, and don't go overboard on the toppings like I've found with a lot of Aussie

Some of the better pizza in the north. Same owners as the popular cousin meine liebe from what I understand. Diverse menu. Very relaxed. Does an especially roaring trade in take away. Heaps of veg options.

A very different type of experience. Don’t expect your average pizza shop. It tries a little too hard to be cool but luckily the pizzas are good. Not for everyone though.

This trendy little hangout is one of Northcote's hidden hideouts. Pretty low key venue, furnished in true retro style complete with old cigarette advertising. You could easily miss this one, with little advertising out front. However walking past the place, there's this lovely aroma of garlic oil wafting in the air. Pizza menu offers some interesting combinations. Some pizzas have an olive base rather than the standard tomato. The veggie option was a bit thin on the veggies (I prefer more topping) and the options included pumpkin, potato or eggplant. Overall, the peeps are friendly (in a cool sort of way) and the pizzas fresh and quick to come out.
