Dosa Hut Wantirna - Melbourne

We ordered the chicken with gravy, which was very flavorful; however, we didn’t expect the chicken to be deep-fried. The chef's special dosa was delicious, though it was slightly oily in some areas. The spicy sauces that accompanied it were our favorites. Unfortunately, the garlic naan was a bit disappointing. We got takeout this time, but we will definitely return to dine in next time. The place seemed nice and cozy, with live music on the weekends.

The ambiance is pleasant and the place is clean. The staff are friendly, and the Dosas are incredible. The sambar was excellent, but the tomato chutney and coconut chutney were disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience!

Let me tell you, their Chicken 65 Biryani is legendary. I deducted one star due to the disappointing dining-in experience we had; the wait time was nearly outrageous. Normally, I don't mind waiting a bit, but we only ordered one dish to share among our group, and it took 50 minutes! The restaurant was basically empty, which made no sense to me. However, when it comes to takeout, this place is perfect.

This place is sooo different from other dosa restaurants in Melbourne. They had Punjabi music pumping, beautiful decor, friendly staff and CHICKEN dosa! The food was delicious and service was fantastic.

Beautiful meals excellent staff.Briyani chicken 65 was awesome.The butter chicken was cooked well and not too creamy like many other indian restaurants.The palak paneer was delicious.Galic nan was super.Totally recommend this place A+
