Cottle on Coventry - Melbourne

This is my favourite coffee and breakfast spot in the southern Melbourne neighborhood next door. The service is exceptional and the food is fresh, with a great selection of herbs.

Cottle on Coventry is a delightful café located in the foodie hub of South Melbourne. The staff are friendly and attentive, the café has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the coffee and food are excellent. Their baked eggs give Hardware Society some tough competition, as the cottle baked eggs are delicious and reasonably priced.

Ordered some takeaway coffees here. Great tasting coffee, quick service and vibrant environment. Has some pretty unique coffee and coffee making tools available for purchase as well.

Looking around in south Melbourne market, it’s a good place to visit and grab a coffee. Fresh roasted coffee beans. Definitely Will come back.

This morning, I chose Cottle for our team breakfast, which was a nice gesture considering I don't drink coffee and they have a roastery inside. They sell and roast beans daily, and the place is quite charming. The staff was very friendly and were happy to split the bill, something you don't always find at more trendy cafes nearby. The food options were simple, but I enjoyed my smashed avocado and chai. It was satisfying, and their cake selection looked amazing. The menu may be straightforward, but while it may not be groundbreaking, I couldn't find any faults with my experience.
