Chew Chew does not look like much from the outside, and the inside looks like it has been cobbled together from a number of rooms. Chew Chew does, however, serve good food and coffee The cafe is just across the road from the Moonee Ponds railway station, so we can safely assume "Chew Chew" is a play on words. It looks busy, and it is under new management.

Met friends here for a quiet brunch. Staff were friendly and attentive, coffee was great and the food delicious (with large meal sizes) Great little find

Had breakfast/brunch here and we were very impressed. The cafe is opposite the train station and is an unassuming,slightly trendy but comfortable place. The menu was quite extensive and very reasonably priced. The corn fritter meal was very tasty and generous, to the point that I was able to take some home with me. The "full" breakfast again was very generous, bacon, pork and fennel sausage, mushrooms, tomato, sweet potato hash brown, eggs and toast. Both of these meals were under $20! Staff were friendly and overall the place is a real find. We hope to be back again.

Been here a few times for lunch & always happy with the food and service. The chicken sandwich is so delicious. Wish there were a few more items on the menu as my husband struggles to find something to order. Always fresh & great flavours. The actual cafe is a really nice space & is just opposite Moonee Ponds train station so it's a few meters away from the puckle street strip of shops and cafes.
