Ordered a takeaway red prawn curry and some spring rolls. The curry sauce was very thin/watery and thank god it was a little bit spicy otherwise it would have tasted of nothing at all. Prawns low quality, vegetables basic and I would take a guess that they were previously frozen. Spring rolls just ok. I ate it but I won't be back.

We often go with friends to this small, cosy restaurant. We are vegan, & there are several vegetarian dishes which are easily made vegan, or the chef will sometimes prepare a special meal for us. The food is freshly cooked, & always tasty. It is also inexpensive. Service is attentive & friendly, without being intrusive. A bonus is that it is BYO.

I just ate dinner at Buubbub thai tonight were very satisfied with the food . It was truly amazing . I had pad thai prawn noodle and coconut chicken curry with rice loved loved the food . Just wanna say Cheap fresh and very yummy

We arrived in Fitzroy on a Tuesday and just happened by this really local place. Very casual and on this Tuesday they featured 20% off their dinner meals! For us it fit our pocketbook and the food was tasty without a long wait. I'm not a spicy food fan and the menue gave not-so-spicy options. The service was polite and very appropriate for the area/local nature of the place i.e. NOT commercial/fast food get-you-in-out as quick as possible! I enjoyed it very much.

Got a groupon special for 7 courses. Turns out rice and roti bread are each a separate "course". Groupon special said that the deal was worth $130 for two. What hogwashThe veggie spring rolls & curry puffs were filled with corn & peas. Appalling. The mains were so so. Nice sauce but the cooking of the eggplant in the eggplant curry was poorly done - rawish eggplant is not nice. Very skimpy on chilli sauce and fish sauce on the side
