When we arrived, we were the first group to dine for the evening. The restaurant had a nice decor and we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The staff gave us time to review the menu and explained some dishes, which was helpful. However, as we were the only diners at that time, it took a bit longer than expected for our entrees to arrive. Despite the delay, the entrees were delicious, although my salmon dish turned out to be barramundi due to the restaurant running out of salmon. While I was disappointed by the unexpected change, the dish was still tasty. The mains that followed were all flavorful and cooked to our specifications, with the mango chicken being a standout. Although I had issues with how my entree situation was handled and found the communication between staff and kitchen to be a bit loud, I appreciated the delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere of Aagaman. Parking may be a challenge on busy nights, but it was easy during our visit just after Christmas. Overall, I would recommend dining at Aagaman and look forward to returning, perhaps during winter.
This is our favorite Indian restaurant that we always come back to for their delicious butter chicken, jeera rice, dal makhni, and unique cheese and spinach naan. They are the only place that serves this amazing cheese spinach naan and it is soooooo yummy!
Great food, great ambiance, amazing hospitality. This place has the best authentic chicken momos
3.5 5<br <br Not too many options to choose for a last-minute plan, Aagman topped the list as most of the restaurants shut by 9.00pm.<br <br Already famished after tiring Saturday spent with filing our taxes, paying our bills and putting the final itinerary in place for our 10 days trip that starts on the 27th September, we ordered our food that comprised of Rice, Naan, Malekhu Fish Tikka, Chettinad Chicken, Gulmeyley Lamb Curry.<br <br At 9.00pm it was very crowded and we were sure that the food would either be awesome or Bad.<br <br Gulmeley Lamb was easily the Dish of the Day. Perfectly cooked and flavored.<br <br Chicken Chettinad definitely was tasty but tasted more like a mild version of butter chicken than chicken chettinad...Nevertheless, totally enjoyed it.<br <br The fish tika was perfectly spiced and.grillwd minus the color...Which was such a relief.<br <br Over-all we loved the food here, and definitely the complimentary papad basket.<br <br What we would have ideally liked is a bit of cleanliness after the customers have made a mess of this place.<br <br Plenty to choose for Vegans and Vegetarians. Easy on pocket and very warm and friendly staff. And too our surprise they are a part of Gold Offer too.<br <br It's perfect time for any South Asia Restaurant to be noticed as Melbourne is more open to experiment than usual and.Aagman has the making of making it big but it gives-in to the usual instead of tapping it's potential.
