First time I came here was in-between the lockdowns for COVID. Had the housemade beef and pork sausage roll which was incredibly delicious, a fresh and healthy green smoothie and the lamb shank soup. The lamb shank soup was probably the least interesting as it felt like something I could make at home. In some ways, it sure means that the ingredients are fresh and there aren't unnecessary artificial flavours. Thought the meat was quite fatty but was happy with the amount and variety of vegetables. Second time I came here was during the lockdown and had the reuben with house corned beef to take away. Was impressed by the way they handled the takeaway orders though it was very busy and a fair wait. The corned beef was not too salty and the portion was more than decent. I think the prices are fairly reasonable here considering the quality of ingredients. Will definitely be back to try other items on the varied menu.
This place is a staple. Lovely service, great food and coffee. <br/ <br/ My Ruben toastie was very good, better than good In fact. With lots of corned beef, some good sauerkraut and nice bread, it was a winner.<br/ <br/ My partners charcoal chicken wrap was another winner, full of chicken and **** tasty. I didn’t get a take away coffee this time but that’s ok, I definitely grab one next time lol.
Really cute cafe. If you go on a weekend youll have to be quick fills up fast! Super lovely owner staff too. Always so friendly. Great food variety and all dishes are yum. Something for everyone.
I was in the area with time to kill and this cafe caught the eye. The coffee was excellent, the bliss ball superb. Surroundings were nice as well and the service was calm, assured and impressive. It works here for sure.
My personal taste means that smashed peas are the ruiner of any brunch meal. Luckily, I saw smashed peas as part of the Ham Hock Benedict and asked for them to be served on the side brunch saved!<br/ <br/ A Thousand Blessings is a cute, modern Richmond cafe that has a focus on eating good for you foods. <br/ <br/ I have been there twice and both times had the Benedict. If I go back, I will try the Acai Bowl, because it looks amazing. <br/ <br/ The Benedict is not my favourite Benedict, but it is nice. The ham and eggs were cooked perfectly. The smocked potato was a bit soft my liking because it meant that the whole meal just kind of mushed together. I would also prefer more hollandaise on my meal. The avocado side was unsurprisingly expensive $5, not too much above standard). I had the avo smash that comes with ricotta and feta mixed in. I prefer my smashed avo more seasoned than this came. <br/ <br/ The serving sizes are very generous and the tables out the front are puppy friendly. If you go on a Saturday, you need to leave extra time to find a car park but this means that you have the added benefit of having the market running across the road.
