1806 Cocktail Bar - Melbourne

Friday night work function was disappointing to say the least. Four ordinary (and very small) cocktails, with four equally tiny food samples-all for $120. Once the set price function was over, cocktails stared around $19 each. So whilst 1806 is a funky setting, you'd best come cashed up as it isn't cheap.Would not be in a hurry to go again!

This place will not disappoint those looking for a quirky moody bar with great cocktails, awesome food choices and the best cocktails ! The staff are extremely attentive and lovely. I went here with 2 other girlfriends and we all loved the place and even walked out with 3 of their fabulous cocktails books, which are for sale. We were lucky enough to get a table near the bar where we could watch the bartenders and their outstanding skills. Make sure you book!

Great decor including leather lounges and "theatre" presentation. Cocktails were excellently made - but you do need to know what you are ordering as the light is too dim to read the menu. Great selection of whiskey and other drinks as well. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Found this only by chance while walking pass during the day and seeing the whiskey menu in the window. Treated ourselves to after theatre drinks. Great atmosphere.

Great idea for the place and atmosphere. An old theatre with a range of cocktails. Take a phone so you can read the menu. Staff were very good. A great unexpected place to go to before the theatre.
