Transport Platform - Melbourne (VIC)

We really enjoy visiting the transport hotel. The rooftop area is fantastic… its almost always buzzing with locals and travellers. Great food, drinks and views. There usually a bit of live music to enjoy over the weekend which is an added bonus.

Came here for dinner to catch up with a friend, we had a pizza to share and some beer, such a nice place. Next time we will sit outside and enjoy the view!

Club Aperol will be temporarily located at Transport Hotel in Melbourne's Federation Square until March 15, 2019. Guests can indulge in delicious dining options and $12 Aperol Spritz cocktails every day. On Sundays, you can gather your friends for a special deal of 2 Aperol Spritz cocktails and a Charcuterie Board for $40, served from our pop-up cart.

I tried the tandoori chicken pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how well they executed it. The subtle spiciness, juicy chicken, and creamy potatoes all made for a delicious combination. I recommend adding some Sriracha sauce for an extra kick. The bowl of chips I ordered was also spot on in terms of temperature, saltiness, and crispiness. The friendly and laid-back staff, along with the inviting ambiance, made for a great dining experience.

I chose one of their stone-fired pizzas. The 'Napoli, mozzarella, ham, mushroom, artichoke, olive ($13.00)' pizza was just the right size for one person. The crust was thin and crispy, and the artichokes were deliciously succulent.
