Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Melbourne

I've visited this location three times, and that’s enough for me. Each time, I've ordered the same item: a large strawberry-banana-pineapple smoothie. Unfortunately, all three times I didn’t get what I ordered. The first time, I received a flatbread pizza. The second time, a smoothie that tasted like peanut butter. And the third time, the smoothie was green and unrecognizable. I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it. I was the only customer in the place—how could they mess it up so badly? I’ve decided to venture down the road to a competitor and enjoy a smoothie that’s actually made right.

The service provided by these ladies was outstanding! Even when a DoorDash driver arrived four hours late to pick up an order, they remained patient, incredibly professional, and managed the situation with great composure. Excellent job, ladies!

It's truly remarkable how strange and unusual my experiences have been over the past five years, and I could spend days recounting them. At its core, this establishment is unfortunately lacking in many aspects. The staff appear to be indifferent, lacking motivation and showing little regard for customer satisfaction, which leaves me to assume they might only be compensated with leftover scraps. As for management, I can hardly believe there is any; it’s hard to imagine someone in charge allowing such persistent mediocrity to thrive. What’s most astonishing is their apparent lack of interest in making any improvements. It’s almost impressive how they’ve managed to underperform consistently while still keeping the business running. I sometimes wish I could do so little at my job and still remain employed. That wraps up my thoughts on this place for now. You’ve already taken up too much of my time over the years, so I bid you farewell. Also, please skip the generic response; there’s nothing more I’m looking for from you. Thank you.

Terrible service at this location. The staff seemed like none of them wanted to be there. I received a wrap that, once I got home and began eating, I realized was half full compared to another location (Viera) where I had the same wrap. Not to mention,it was missing a key ingredient. When I drove back to the location and presented the issue (with the wrap in hand) I wastreated like a bother, given no one to speak to besides the person in front of me (Sashali) and never once did they expressconcern that they sold me a wrap that was missing the ingredients advertised on the menu. I can go on but just let me say, thenew owners here do not know how to run a service business and I would highly recommend making the drive to the Viera orRockledge locations. And for the people that took care of me (Andrew I think) and Sashali, they should be working somewherethat they don't have to interact with customers.

Over months of using this location for the convenience, even after so many mistakes and issues with orders, I personally will never order food from here again, and you shouldn't either. They tried to reserve me food that had left the building withanother person and brought back. They refused to issue a refund and I left without food but they kept my money. They need anoverhaul of management or something. This place really sucks.
