Take Out To You - Melbourne

We had a wonderful experience here! As visitors from Indiana, it was a refreshing change from our usual dining options. The food was served hot and perfectly seasoned. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent, and we really loved the fish tank!

Today, we visited some friends in Fort Pierce, and after our time together, we went to Cheddar's on New Haven Road in Melbourne for lunch. I was absolutely delighted with everything—the service, the food, and the prices were all outstanding. This will definitely be our go-to spot in the future, and we will be recommending it to our friends!

For dinner, I chose Buffalo Chicken Wraps with a loaded baked potato on the side, while my husband had Country Fried Steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. The wraps were enormous and flavorful, but they fell short of being spectacular. I think the floating filler in them crumbled too much and clashed with the chicken flavor. As for the loaded baked potato, it was disappointing. It lacked seasoning and came without sour cream; it was just butter and shredded cheese that didn’t melt properly, leaving me underwhelmed. My husband’s Country Fried Steak was decent, featuring a nice breading and delicate meat, but it was lacking in spices and overall flavor. The mashed potatoes were acceptable, but again, more seasoning would have significantly enhanced them. The gravy tasted overly milky or creamy and was quite bland. However, the green beans were the best part of the meal—they were tender without being mushy and had great flavor. Our server was very friendly, but the service was a bit slow. We understood the delays, especially since the tables around us were frequently receiving incorrect or incomplete orders—not our server’s fault, as there were instances where our appetizers were mistakenly delivered to the wrong table. While I understand that Saturdays can be busy for restaurants, the kitchen staff could use a bit more organization, as could some of the wait staff. It might be worth reconsidering the practice of having one employee deliver food that another is responsible for, as it can lead to mix-ups. Overall, while our evening wasn't a disaster, it certainly wasn’t an experience we’re eager to repeat. Just sharing our thoughts!

The service here is excellent, the waitress we had was super prompt and definitely 100% on things. The food was amazing. Our favorite remover was absolutely the honey butter croissants, they were so fresh and light and fluffy, I would probably have lowered a dozen of me, no joke. It is added to the list of places we come back.

We went here for lunch. Our waitress was also our bartender, and she made the drinks really well. I would likely not return as the food is pretty normal yet priced like a higher end restaurant. The cheese bites appetizer were the best part of lunch.
