The waiter attributed the delay to a large party, but I couldn’t see that party, as the restaurant didn’t seem overly busy. The food itself was decent but didn’t live up to the price we paid, and it wasn't hot when served. It seemed like the food had to be carried long distances from the kitchen down the stairs to our riverfront spot, and they don’t cover it during transport. The Mexican roll was quite tasty, though. In total, I spent $160 on two drinks, a sushi roll, conch fritters, and two main dishes. I was also disappointed to find that they do not offer military discounts. Overall, while the setting was lovely for our celebration, the noise and service issues detracted from the experience.

I stopped by for a drink and was impressed by the picturesque setting. The outdoor bar is located right by the water, offering a beautiful view. There were multiple screens showing college football, which helped create the perfect atmosphere. I ordered a margarita that came in a nice glass, but it was a bit weak. It's also on the pricier side—you're definitely paying for the view.

For dessert, I chose the salted caramel cheesecake, which I felt was a bit too heavy on the caramel, sacrificing some of the classic cheesecake texture. My mom sampled the coconut dessert, which was wonderfully moist and flavorful without being overpowering. Overall, most of the dishes were exceptional, and I’m looking forward to returning with my wife for another special evening. **Service** The service was commendable. We were well taken care of, and although our server wasn't the most knowledgeable about the menu, she went above and beyond to address our questions. **Overall** Frigates has truly succeeded in creating a hidden paradise. We had a great meal waterfront, and the service and atmosphere were awesome as well. Highly recommend the macadamia-coconut oconut crusted grouper and conch fritters! Creamed spinach is a must side dish. ?

Food is good but pricey. Almost the entire lot was valet for lunch. The service is the problem. No silverware or linen. The wait for the server to come back was way too long.
